Don't Blame God - Rejoice in his Plan.

Yesterday someone posted on my Facebook

"Too bad God wasn't nice enough to get those cows off the road before you came through - could have saved you a whole lot of trouble. :)"

Moving the cows was not God's plan - nor was it in his plan for me to be seriously hurt or die.  Because if it would have been, it would have happened.

I may sound  crazy, but I know there were angels there protecting me - I know they lifted that cow off my windshield so that it didn't land in my lap (and smash me).

I don't know God's plan behind this, I don't know why it happened to me, but I know he protected more than just me yesterday morning.

He protected my kids from losing their mother, he protected the livestock owner from being responsible for my death or serious injury, he protected the next cars to pass - one was headed to the hospital to see her mother who was ill, the other had kids in the car.

I will not blame God for the misfortune of losing my beloved car (yes I loved my car), I will only rejoice and be happy that we all survived (except the cow) and that we all learned life lessons.

My car is replaceable, in fact I already have a rental car (thanks to the livestock owner and their staff).  My body will heal from being sore (Epsom salt and menthol do wonders).

I leave you with this:

“And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”
 Colossians 3:15 NLT
