Cape Air Offers “Buy Now Save Later” Special

During the month of September Cape Air is offering airfare discounts for passengers traveling between St Louis, Missouri and Owensboro, Kentucky.

How it works:

Purchase a full-fare ticket OWB-STL for travel in September at the regular price of $50* each way.
Call our reservations agents at 800-CAPE-AIR, visit the Owensboro City Ticket Office (located at 109 East 2nd Street), or visit a Cape Air counter agent at Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport or Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. Once an agent verifies your September travel, you will have the chance to purchase a ticket valid for travel between OWB-STL in the months of November or December for $29* each way.

While you will be able to book your full-fare ticket for $50* online, the $29* each way ticket is only available for purchase through a Cape Air agent. This special fare is not available for booking online or through online travel agencies.

Offer details:

Booking window: August 31 - September 30, 2013.
Travel on your full-fare ticket must take place between September 1 and September 30, 2013.

The $29* November/December fare is not available to passengers using commuter book tickets or award tickets. You must have a full-fare ticket for travel in September.

Holiday blackout dates may apply in November and December.

If you cancel your September reservation and do not travel, you will not receive the $29* each way fare in November or December.

Many of my friends and fellow travelers forget about these smaller airlines and airports.  I have flown with Cape Air out of Cape Girardeau to St Louis, MO….and to be honest I would rather fly with them than many of the bigger airlines.  The service was quick, they were easy to work with, and you get to know your pilot when it is only him, four other passengers, and you on the plane!  (He even let me sit in the co-pilot seat).

So happy fall you ‘all and have safe travels!
