Bollinger Mill State Historic Site

Today our favorite natural retreat is Bollinger Mill State Historic Site in Burfordville, MO. Some will say I chose this place because It is close to our house, yes that is nice, but there is much more.
These are my favorite things about Bollinger Mill State Historic Site:

-No Playground- I know mom’s everywhere are saying, “she is CRAY” no I am not crazy YET! I use the fact that there is NO playground for us to intrigue our imagination. Our last summer picnic at Bollinger Mill was absolutely beautiful, we packed the bubbles; picnic basket, a few dump trucks and we were off to GET GOOD and DIRTY!
